The most famous slopestyle event of Switzerland is taking place at the ice-rink Thun. A huge line-up of pro-riders from all over the world, a suuuuuper sick track and a after party you better don’t miss!

Man könnte meinen, dass der Sommer schon da sei bei diesen Temperaturen.

Darum treffen wir uns diesen Samstag 17. März Morgens ab 8.00 Uhr (kein Witz) um den Pumptrack in Höllstein in Schuss zu bringen. Wir freuen uns über jede helfende Hand.

Schaufeln und Vibraplatte stehen bereit.

Das ganze sollte vom Aufwand her nicht lange dauern. Ziel ist es bis Mittag/früher Nachmittag fertig zu sein.

Über Mittag kann grilliert werden, der Grill ist endlich ready.

Also nix wie loos am Samstag nach Hölstein. Wir freuen uns!

Noodlez im Gurten Bike Park

Leitung: Samuel Hubschmid ist den Bikern meist nur unter dem Nickname „Noodlez“     bekannt. Er ist Gründer und Präsident der Organisation trailnet.ch , die den Gurtentrail realisiert hat und erhalten hilft, siehe: singletrailverbot 

Rookies Roadtrip richtet sich an Mädchen und Jungs von 13 bis 20 Jahre, die auf dem Mountainbike Vorkenntnisse haben und nun endlich raus auf die grossen Strecken wollen. CITYCYCLES RIDES organisiert den Transport und Tickets, die Unterkunft, die technische Betreuung und vermittelt, bei Bedarf, Test- und Mietmaterial, wie Helme, Protektoren und auch geeignete Bikes. Alles Material muss früh und vorzeitig reserviert werden.

Level:

Für Rookies von 13 – 20 Jahre  mit Bikepark Vorkenntnissen. (Ausnahmen nach Absprache).

Kosten:

450.00 Franken pro Weekend (inkl. Transport, Übernachtung mit Frühstück und Lifttickets) Die Versicherung ist Sache der Teilnehmenden.

Material: Eigenes Bike, Helm und Protektoren (Testmaterial von GIANT und Protektoren

können gemietet werden. Vorzeitige Reservierung ist notwendig)

One of Switzerland’s most passionate parkbuilders, Simon Bühler, is looking for a new playground. To make his dream come true, we need you to vote for our project and help us to push the mountainbikesport in Switzerland.

Simon Bühler, founder of the Bikelords association, started building the first Slopestyle Course in Switzerland in 2007. 
By the time Bikelords association finished building the Slopestyle Course several environmental organisations showed up and it ended all in the fact that Bikelords will lose their current Slopestylepark due to strict forest law regulations in Switzerland.

But the Bikelords already found a new potential spot and coincidence occurs that at the same time a swiss newspaper called 20minutes sponsors 10‘000$ for the best non-profit association project in Switzerland.

More than 100 ideas entered the contest and our park made it into the final 6.
Now it’s all about you. The project with the most votes gets the money!
